Bow ties, the new must-have

Today’s blog is dedicated to one of the coolest accessories available for boys, we are talking about bow ties. These have often been overlooked but are gaining huge popularity rapidly and we totally understand why.

Bow ties are currently one the trendiest boys’ accessories out there. Like any other accessory we use, bow ties are just another form of self-expression. These can be a true reflection of your little one’s personality; they can be used to make a statement and to make them feel good.

The Classic

We are talking about bow ties in plain colours, which you will always find as part of our stock offering. We normally use these to match our suits and more formal looks in navy, black, stone, white and light grey.

These are often used to make a statement at special celebrations. Weddings, christenings and first birthday parties are usually the events that call for these types of bow ties.

The Funky

Funky bow ties often use plain colours in the background but incorporate other elements to add some fun to the look. Think of small flowers, spots, gingham, or stripes… The list is endless!

We especially love these types of bow ties when our customers want a formal look with a different touch.

The Trendy

This category leads us to discussing colours, fabrics and patterns which are more particular to a specific season or trend.

Last winter, red and mustard tartan were quite popular. We designed some classic pants using this fabric and we completed the gorgeous look by adding bow ties and driver caps in the same fabric.

In this case, trendy bow ties are often designed and manufactured for one specific season and are not repeated unless the fashion cycle calls for it again.
